At Summit Point Seafood we grow native to Maine seaweeds in sustainable and Earth conscious ways.

We specialize in growing Skinny Kelp and Sugar Kelp from seed to market ready. This method limits the impacts of harvesting wild populations and helps keep our coastlines healthy and intact.

We take pride in the fact that the products we grow are zero input. Our seaweed requires zero fertilizers, fresh water, or feed. Our kelp sequesters carbon and removes nitrogen from the ocean and helps combat the global problem of ocean acidification.
